Skipped Shipping Practice for an evening out with them today. It was Pin, Hani, Thondres, Yuen Tuck, Darren, Sam, Suan Ling, Christie, Li Qiang and Najib. We did that angel & guardian thing. Similar to the secret santa method. You each pick a name and the name that you pick, well..you have to buy a gift for them. You can't tell them who you are though but I think almost everyone knew but Christie. LOL. She kept thinking it was Hani but it was actually me. Got her a white t-shirt with a tree's shadow on it. Thought it seemed pretty nice. Thank god it could fit her. I got Family Guy boxers from Darren. Pretty awesome shit. I've been wanting to buy a pair but haven't really come across them.

We went to Seoul Garden to eat. Thondres kinda went crazy with the food. After I paid the guy for everything Suan Ling & I saw tons of chicken on the grill. I MEANT A LOT. Then after that the damn guy took back a whole damn plate FULL of fish. I think Suan Ling & I ate the most fish lol. Damn Thondres. I told her to bring her dragon boat paddle so I would just hold him and she would just hit him with it tomorrow morning.

Celebrating Capt. Savio's birthday in class tmr. Christie put a lot of planning into this, hoping for the best. I can't wait for the sleepover at Eugene's house soon. I really have the urge to play poker, especially with Song Yuan, that guy makes anything so funny that its crazy.

Night!

Its finally the last week of classes. At least we get a 2 week break before the next exam again. Christmas is creeping in, have to get presents really soon. I've never really gave anyone much, none of my friends really cared about Christmas presents. We just liked to celebrate the holiday itself, which was fine by me.

My friends never really hinted what they wanted me to get them for their birthdays. They didn't have to, I always knew what to get. Its hard to believe that some of them just don't care. Either that or all they care about is one person. One person that they would probably cry over in a year's time. You think I feel comfortable talking to a friend whom I once trusted. Unkowingly realising that THAT particular friend of mine has been telling what I've been saying to other people? Its been inside me for awhile, I've just never told anyone. If you EVEN read this blog, you should know who I'm talking about and you should fucking shut your damn mouth before I smash a baseball bat right in your face.

damn mondays

I hate the way my blog looks. lol. I'm too lazy to learn to how to change how it looks so I'll just leave it like that. Today has been one of the most boring days ever. It just sucked. The lessons were just too boring, understandable but just boring. Ugh, the rest of the week better not be like that.

I've been listening to a lot of Blues lately. Love Stevie Ray Vaughan's music. Kinda depressing once I found out that he died when I was born. Why do all the talented and awesome people have to die so early =( He's a great influence, I got so many ideas from him just after listening to one song by him.

Stuff you won't know about me unless you read this

My first crush was at the age of 7.

I do not like girls who are possessive.

I hate fast food.

My body is willing but my mind is terribly weak.

My friends are everything to me.

I'm a Christian but I believe in Karma, what you do is what you get.

I've always wanted to live in France

I always wished I was French instead of Singaporean

I don't believe that there's only 1 soulmate for everyone

I don't like it when singaporeans speak both English & Mandarin while conversing in the MRT at 8am in the morning. (damn cheena people -_-)

I do not enjoy shooting, I've tried it with a rifle at CJ, I suck at it & I do not like the idea of my sperms dying if I don't wash my hands well enough.

I get a headache when I stand too near to anyone who has bad odour.

I love cartoons.

I like to read books that keep me pondering on what is going to happen in the end.

I always wished I had a British accent.

I believe that there are life forms in other parts of the universe other than Earth.

I like to watch tv serials that take me away from reality, away from my problems.

I like wearing only my boxers at home, no one can see me and its comfortable.

I only listen to Gold 90.5FM.

I hate all other radio frequencies.

I like oldies, western, blues and jazz music.

I hate coke, probably cos I drank too much when I was younger.

Exams are finally over and done with. I haven't started on my Stats report yet, can't really be bothered til Monday. I'm going to this hifi thing tmr to listen to some awesome stuff. Its supposed to be pretty good set ups, can't wait to be impressed. Went out with a few of em today for a movie and dinner etc. Kinda hated the Beowulf show, disappointed more than hated. Hy and I went back flat out broke. I think he has a dollar and I have 2. Its probably cos we ate Tony Romas and I just bought my 30 watt tube amp. It costs me like around 3300 total for the whole amp, plus cabinet. Really awesome shit though. I love it.

Decided to postpone my Texas trip to the 2nd year's mid term holiday instead cos I'm like flat out broke and I can't afford a guitar right now. Especially one that costs 6000. Yeah PRS kills on price but Paul Smith said "Our guitars are meant to be loved, once you look at it, you'll fall in love with em" So its definitely worth it to get one. McCarty Standard with Dragon I Pickups, Rosewood neck and Abalone bird inlays here I come! (in like 9 months -_-) but still! haha.

Listening to music again before I sleep, that JR Blackmore album was a good buy. Gotta thank Sam again for it. He's really good when it comes to what albums are good haha.

Woke up, watched Bleach AGAIN. Haha, man I love that show. Studied for Shipping Practice. After I finished, I went to play pool with Hy. He wanted to get back his form. I think we both did at the end of the day. Should be better next friday, don't think we'll suck like last friday. LOL!!! I came back around 4:30 and did like 2 hours of revision for Ports and Terminals and manage to finish. Pft

I've been watching tons of comedy shows again like I did last time. My sense of humour is way past others. I laugh at almost everything. I can laugh at British humour, Kelsey Grammar's sketch show (mind you not many ppl would laugh at this lame show) and Chinese opera singers. Their voice is too damn high pitched not to laugh at them.

Its like so wierd, there are a couple of things in your life you've never been able to figure out. Like Criss Angel, he walks on water, flies from building to building ( you can see the shadow as he moves ) and its like you don't know if its a camera trick or not, its just too believable from the TV point of view. You can't deny there is a possibility its not a camera trick and SOMETHING else. I still think he's just an awesome illusionst though and I look up to him for his motivation and the way he pushes himself pass his limits when it comes to exercising.

/

I finished my Econs revision during the afternoon and had to wire 52 bucks to this guy's account so that I could get my cables for the amplifier i'm going to get next week once my ICAs finish up. Can't wait! I kinda watched Bleach episodes from youtube during the short breaks I took while revising. lol I'm slowly catching up!

Went out with the whole lot of em again today. Miss Clarity Cafe at Bugis. Gotta admit the food's pretty good. Yi He brought up the idea of renting a chalet cos most of our houses are small and its hard to fit 10 people in for an overnight stay. The SAFRA Tanah Merah sounded good. Its like an entire bungalow to ourselves but its like 220 a night. =/ Gotta get Hy to do the bookings, cos he's like the only one with a SAFRA card. Song Yuan brought up the idea of each of us bringing a girl there. Sounded good. I just have to make sure I bring the right one, so it wouldn't be awkward. Went to the arcade instead of catching a movie cos of all the screwed up timings. Was pretty fun I guess, arcades aren't really my thing though but nonetheless, still damn good with all of them around.

I really don't care about relationships anymore, its been great. I guess the thing for her was more of an "interested" status than a "omg I really like you" thing. Since I didn't really get to know her well enough until she found out about it. It was really awkward, at first I just liked talking to her but now its just not the same. We can't communicate as well as we could last time. Going through friends to get a girl wasn't really great after all. My mind's pretty clear for these few days. All I've been thinking about is music, music, music, exams and more music. I've been improving, I can safely tell you that but I'm not that good yet. Hopefully, I will be. I love my guitar too much not to improve.

Brandon never ceases to amaze me with what he knows. He's been playing since he was 17 and he's 24 now. He's the only person I can really talk to about guitars. Recently, I've learnt not from him but from a DVD which has shown me what different kinds of wood on the body, top, neck and fretboard can actually do. Its AMAZING. I'm learning so much and its only been a month. I can't wait until one year passes, I wonder what I'll know then. Singapore has very limited amount of expensive musical instruments. In order to confirm I like the PRS McCarty model, I have to wait for Davis Guitar Centre to bring in the stock so that I can just test the guitar. Then I have to place an order for it with the rosewood neck, abalone bird inlays and the Dragon I pickups. I would probably get a new guitar by the end of next year. I really hope the Texas trip goes well, I might be able to get all that I need there and not have to wait so long. Planning to test out the amplifier Brandon's getting next week. Its a THD 30 watt head. He said it sounds good at low volumes. Its almost perfect for my bedroom, all I need to know now is whether I love the sound. Anyway, Monk started, gonna stop here.

31/10/2007

Halloween's just around the corner and I've been hearing how my friends get to go for cool parties etc. Kinda wish we could do that. So far I've tested 3 Gibson Les Pauls. A classic, standard faded and a standard. I liked the standard faded, the other two weren't meant for me. Its like after playing the guitar for 2 mins, you know its the right guitar for you. Its just that feeling, like how you know whether that girl is just a friend or something else. Haha.

pfft

I know I haven't been blogging in awhile. I've been busy with a couple of things.
Couple of major things have happened in my life. Might not be for any of you but it is for me.

For once, I do not feel the need to wake up every single day at 7am to play WoW. Finally sold my account for 600 bucks. Could've sold for more if it was an american buyer but I do not want the chance of getting scammed over the internet.

Taking guitar even more seriously now then I did a couple of months ago. Sorta just planned everything out on what I'm buying etc. Need to save about another 7000 dollars to get everything else that I want. Haha. Hopefully the delivery fees for the amplifier head I'm importing from Hong Kong won't be that expensive.

I took up lessons again. This time more seriously, I finally found someone whom I look up to and who can answer everything I throw at him. I've learnt all the basics through random playing over the last 2 years so I guess its time to move on to the more difficult stuff.

Being single for me right now is great. I can just focus on what I want to do and not really worry about anything else actually. Its more freedom. On the plus side my dad won't have to keep on nagging at me telling me how horrible and troublesome women are. His best line so far has been " Look at your mom " . Hahahahaha. Which is really true for her case. I seriously don't think all women are annoying. After hearing stories from close friends I think I'm going to stay single for awhile. Can't seem to find that girl thats right for me. I don't attract girls right off the back from my looks. Why you ask? Rofl I look like a geek, and I'm proud of it. I like who I am. I like how some people like me for my personality not my looks.

I've been visiting music forums and mocca quite a bit recently, trying to sell off some junk I don't want or need for that matter. Btw if anyone wants a PS2 for $150 which is in good condition, feel free to contact me. I need whatever I can get for a new guitar. Still haven't compared which sound best suits me yet though. Its a toss up between 2 brands, Gibson & PRS, and plus after that I still need to see which model to buy.

My influences have changed from bands to solo guitarists over the past few months. Now that I think back, the whole listening to bands thing wasn't really my thing. I can listen to Paul Gilbert for an entire day but I can't listen to Taking Back Sunday for an hour. That's just me I guess. Its not that I don't enjoy it, I just prefer more instrumental music now.

Went out with them yesterday. You know, the whole lot of em. Great guys, I think we'll be friends for a LONG time. I think I'm catching on to Song Yuan's craziness. Except he makes fun of other people and I make myself sound like a retard to get people to laugh. Its effective though. lol!

September

Its amazing how many people I know that have birthdays on this month. I surprisingly remember all of em. I'm not a very good person to go to if you want to ask "omg when is his/her birthday". I'm just forgetful >< I've found a way to remember now though. LOL Apparently, I also suck badly at writing birthday cards. My dad has always asked me to write new year/christmas cards for our relatives and he thinks I'm not serious when I do it but I actually am, I'm just terrible at it. My handwriting goes all off. My words slant. Sometimes on the cover I can't even position the name right in the middle. Like when you sign off, do you put From XXX, or just XXX which is your name of course. I just put down my name, I dunno, it just seems wierd with the " From " there. I'm glad some of my friends don't give a crap about cards at all. Like Hy, I just bought him a T-shirt, told my dad to wrap it and just gave it to him. Yeah I ask my dad to wrap my presents because I can't do it. I'm terrible at all these kinds of things. Sure I know what to buy for what person but when it comes to this I'm lost.

After you've known someone for awhile, you know what to get them. You know exactly what to get them, its not like you've been planning it, the idea just comes right to you. I would get really nice presents for girls that I like but so far I've only done it once. I get good presents for my close friends too, they're too awesome to not do that for them. Most of the time its like we share presents or sometimes I just casually ask them what they want. I mean you don't have to be so serious about surprising them. If a friend came up to me and asked "Hey, what do you want, " I wouldn't blame them for it. Sometimes its just better to get them what they want I guess. Like for Muthu, I asked him whether he liked the albums at HMV. Andrew and I got them for him and he liked it, so damn simple.

So I had dinner with my dad yesterday, I'd be one of the first to say that I like having dinner with my dad. He brings me to random places which are awesome. Well, yesterday it was Tony Romas, nothing special though. Stupid beef ribs were too little and too expensive. Went to that gourmet supermarket J.A.S.O.N.S again, they were clearing stock of Miller Lite which came in those glass bottles. Only cost like 2 bucks a bottle so he told me to pick up like 5 of it since it was so cheap.

Went to Inokii to see Sam. Kinda felt bad that I told him to reserve 2 CDs for me and I never got back to him until now. Bought both of em, they're really good. Its like just purely intstrumental. One of them is by the son of Blackmore, who's the guitarist of Deep Purple. So yeah, you know its gonna be good.

_

Have you ever felt different after stepping out of the cinema. For example you feel like a particular character in that movie. Its just a random thought.

Classes start in less than a week. I'm not surprised I'd feel slightly depressed for the first week due to 6 weeks away from campus. Glad I can finally meet and talk to some of my friends that I haven't seen in a month or so. That's whats been keeping me going all this while, my friends. I signed up for the Discovering Music elective module yesterday. Finally I get to know some theory behind what I've been playing all this while.

Last Monday, I thought I'd drop by Excelsior Shopping Centre to meet up with this guy to buy a Whammy pedal for like 200 bucks. Firstly, he worked at Guitar 77. Secondly, the pedal looked like crap. He described it as "minor dents" when it looked like a car ran over it. He seemed so impatient while I was talking to him too. If you want to sell something, you wouldn't sell it in that condition for 200. It'd definitely be cheaper. He even said "It won't spoil lah, I used it for gigs, thats why its so dented." Yeah I'm sure during a gig you probably dropped the bloody thing 10 times. Guitar 77 has one of the most insincere staff I have ever seen. I would rather fly to America to get my Shecter than buy it from them. Fuck that man, a month back I asked for an item which was sold out and they laughed and gladly said "Come back in 2 weeks or one month's time". A shop with that kind of response will never get my money. Not fucking ever.

I'm just blogging as I wait to sign up for my elective modules online which start at 2. I have this sudden liking for old movies. Watched scarface last week, it was pretty awesome. Its like a 3 hours show. Its about this 1 guy's life and it shows how he goes from the bottom to the top of the drug industry. Gotta go find more old movies to watch for the weeks ahead.
MTV seems to be getting more retarded as the years come. I'm starting to hate the channel. They show videos where the guitarist is not even really playing. He's just acting like he's playing and its annoying. Its how their hands move so damn slowly as if they play 1 note every 30 seconds. The new bands are nothing compared to the old ones. Don't really appreciate the new kind of music anymore. There are too many bands out there and all they do is copy the melodies from their influences. I mean its nothing wrong but its getting boring as everything gets repeated. Take for example Walking Disaster by Sum 41, its in their new album. It sounds like a song that MEST might play.

There has been nothing to do for the past week, just slacking at home, watching tv and doing my own stuff. Just relaxing while waiting for the new semester to begin.

The Funeral For A Friend concert was a blast. The crowd was around 500, pretty small crowd. Andrew and I managed to find spots on the balcony, we arrived the latest and yet we found only a few people standing on the balcony. I mean like, we got a perfect view of the stage and the band, it was awesome. One of the best concerts I've been to, definitely better than Fall Out Boy. Yeah so I watched that rat movie with Muthu and Lk. After that we went to Tony Romas. Hahaha. I knew they would enjoy the ribs there! =P Lk was saying how much he enjoyed the damn sauce. He even smelt his fingers on the MRT. I was like ERRRRRRR...LOL!!!!!!!!!!

"Fuck work, I'm going home to relax" - Lk

Caution: Awesome ribs may cause people to slack.

Monday

Went out with Hy today. Kinda caught up a bit on stuff in our lives. Hy lost his phone then got a new one. The best part is the new one's LCD lens broke within 3 hours. Thats really bullshit imo. Never trust Sony Ericsson. The new models at least. He even had to pay 96 bucks to replace the lens. =( poor hy. Plus he had to buy that other thing too which I would not say for my own reasons. Sony Ericsson has about a 100 customers asking for servicing on a Monday. When hy picked up this slip of paper which showed him the estimated time it said 32 mins. Mind you, its a Monday at 2pm where most people should be at work. You can imagine how much trouble these new models are giving people. I'm not saying they're bad I'm just saying they should start correcting all the faulty ones quick. We dropped by Tangs to look for a present I was gonna buy for a friend but the stuff wasn't too good so I didn't bother. PS had some changes since I had last been there, new stores selling food. lol We definitely got caught in the rain to Monstercue and back to the LAN centre which was quite a far walk away. Had to dry our hair in the bloody toilet with the damn dryer. Treated him to dinner for his birthday since i had Takashimaya vouchers. Knew he would like the Japanese food at Taka. LOL Anyway that was it. Oh yeah and I bought brownies home. I'm eating them now as I blog. =P awesome shit. hahahahaha.

The weekend was kinda mild for me except dinner...I went to Hokkaido again with my parents for dinner. Cold sake is sooo much better than the warm one. Saturday night was one of the worst dinners I've had in awhile. It was at New York New York at the AMK Hub. I had the spare ribs because Lk told me they were good last time. WORST ribs I have ever tasted. My mouth hurt after eating them, it was like me giving the damn food a blowjob. That meal kinda changed my mood for the entire night. (called Muthu a fucker >< sorry!)
Anyway, today was awesome. Dad brought me to Tony Romas, my mom went over to her friend's place so both of us left early at about 5:30 after my rounds. I still like the orchard area, its more "non-chinese". I really have to bring lk and muthu to Tony Romas next time after their promos. They would agree that New York New York's ribs are shit. Damn J.A.S.O.N.S supermarket don't have Bud light. ARGH!!! Damn brand so difficult to find in Singapore. pffft.

Woke up at 5am today. Would like to thank god for coffee. Man it works wonders lol. I stayed awake for the entire morning. I woke up looking forward to that 30 bucks they were "giving" us for the FEREX exercise which is a ferry evacuation exercise held by I don't know who but the bottom line was we were getting 30 bucks each and CCA points for being victims. It was like easy cash until Chit told us the one that involved the 30 bucks was next week. We didn't even know there were 2 different exercises. I might go for next week's one, depends on how I feel then. Haha. Sam was like so disappointed. I was too but I just didn't express it much. I tried cheering her up with random songs I thought she might enjoy on the bus. Hopefully that worked out. lol. I fell asleep on the bus back to tanjong pagar complex lol .Yue Sheng woke me up by shaking his chair. Lucky stroke of luck there if not i'd be left sleeping on the bus. I seriously did got kinda annoyed on the damn ship. People kept talking to Sam about the catwalk she did. Its kinda obvious that a girl doesn't want to hear about something over and over again but they still do it. Its really retarded I still don't understand some guys. The damn malay guy behind me on the ship kept talking non-stop on the rescue boat back to shore. Omg I got so annoyed. I just don't like some people. I guess after being in maris stella for like 4 years, it kinda gets to you. I dropped by inokii to pick up something and Sam (different person) recommended this album which was pretty good. Kinda hung out there for like half an hour listening to other albums before I left. Borders was pretty cool, there was this hot girl & JUST when i was about to approach her to say "Hey, nice t-shirt" and just walk off to leave her clueless, her mom walked up to her. Omg that was close. Really close, last time I would ever try that again for awhile. There were 2 reasons why I wanted to get to know her. She's really hot for a chinese girl & she had a NOFX album in a hand. lol

Bourne Ultimatum, great show. Good storyline. Awesome how Matt Damon can keep a straight face throughout the entire show. Watched it with lk and muthu. Felt kinda nice to meet up with them after a boring week. Still wished most of my friends in poly weren't that busy so we could hang out more. Been thinking about getting this 2nd hand whammy pedal for 430 bucks. Yeah it is expensive but it might be worth it in a long run. It seems like every time I talk to her I start to like her again. Never seems to go away does it. This so called feeling...

Saturdays

Nothing much went on today, kinda just lazed around the house a bit til like 4:45pm. Dad and I went to a Japanese restaurant at Turf City. It was a A'la carte buffet so you could order whatever you wanted. They even had this cheese chawanmushi. Who would order such a thing at a buffet??!! Its chesse and egg, after eating that you wouldn't need to eat anything else for awhile. After 5mins from me saying that the table right behind us ordered it. LOL!!!!!!! Tried sake for the first time. Dad said I would get drunk from 4 cups since its my first time but I guess not hahaha.

----

Its been rather different these few days with no classes. Most of my friends have all gone to JC so yeah, it does get boring. My Dad has been pestering me to go out more often. (I don't get the logic, I go out and spend even MORE money..sheesh)

Spent the day with Hy yesterday, just hanging out in my room. playing DOA 4, introduced him to some new bands. (Quite a few actually) Most of the bands I know aren't mainstream so he didn't care to listen to them until now. Haha!

Did a couple of arenas in WoW today before meeting up with Muthu for dinner. Called him before I met up with him and discovered he was sitting down right in front of me. LOL
Ate dinner at Hans, Yes...I know, AGAIN, but hey who cares. Its cheap, reasonable and the food is awesome. Spent 5 mins looking at Muthu cut the fats off his lamb chop.

Muthu: " Ci Bai, so much fats. "
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yar never order the grilled lamb chop at Hans. GG Muthu.

I know I haven't been blogging in awhile. I haven't had the time, I've been studying & playing my new xbox 360. I only play Dead or Alive 4 but yeah I'm getting pretty good at it. Well, i'm glad the exams are over. Its kinda nice not to go to campus for awhile. I get annoyed almost every fucking day on the MRT. Its either people who STINK to high heaven, bitches who can't stop fucking talking in Mandarin AND English. (BTW if your English is like crap, DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO SPEAK IT! Retards.) Oh and the new addition, a crying baby! Wow that must've been an enjoying ride for me. Trying to study and the damn baby keeps crying the entire way. Have you ever wondered why people in guitar stores are so fucking snobbish? Neither have I, I asked this guy when this item was coming in & he was like come back like 2 weeks or 4 weeks. Stupid vague answer that people like me would get pissed off over. Looks like you just lost a customer buddy. Stupid Singaporeans have no business sense. So like the 9th of August came and went. More pollution to the environment with that damn parade again. With the prime minister or whoever riding on some vehicle waving at everyone. I'm telling one day, one "loyal"
citizen of Singapore would do his country good by picking up a nice sniper and giving the prime minister one to his forehead, in between his eyes. (or even better right in the nuts) Raise the GST price again and I'm telling you that would happen.
I went to watch Perfect Stranger today with Sam, Hani & Louis. Louis liked the twist. To be honest I didn't like the movie one bit. I do not like movies with stupid endings. She killed her best friend. That's just retarded. It was a movie I wanted to watch after all so no complaints. Oh and Sam bought water for like $2.20 today at the movie theater. She also walked towards the wrong escalator. I think we wanted to go down & she walked towards the one going up. (or vice versa, kinda forgot.) One for the team!! (I'm only blogging about this cos you're going to read it babe. Yeah I already know I'm going to get hit so hard for this but its soooooo worth it!! =) ) That's all. I'm going to enjoy my CD now, its like a guitarist from Finland and he shreds so well its inhuman.

Accounting can lick my nuts

Spent almost the entire day doing my Accounting project with Hani, Christie & Suan Ling. We spent HOURS on it. We met up at around 10:30am at the SP library & couldn't balance the trial balance. Went to Holland V for lunch at ThaiExpress. The green curry was awesome. Haha. After that we stayed at Burger King until about 6pm & Suan Ling finally balanced it! I helped a bit with that accomplishment. Hahahahahaha. A tiring day but still I feel awesome. This blog entry is short because I'm tired & i'm talking to Dave & Justin on vent. They're talking about random shit & what we're going to do when I get my butt to Texas after the 2nd semester. Its going to be great, I can't wait.

The List!

You know how almost everyone who loves music awaits the day that someone asks that them what is their Top 10 favourite songs. I've been thinking about it ever since I read that book. So I thought I would make my own. This would definitely change in the near future. Haha

1) The Feel Good Drag - Anberlin
2) Through Glass - Stone Sour
3) We've Had Enough - Alkaline Trio
4) Everything I Need - From Autumn To Ashes
5) Lies - Billy Talent
6) Curse Of Curves - Cute Is What We Aim For
7) Five Minutes To Midnight - Boys Like Girls
8) Basket Case - Green Day
9) Last Train Home - Lost Prophets
10) Getting Away With Murder - Papa Roach

Not many people share the same taste in music as I do. I've yet to find someone who has the exact same one as I do. It kinda sucks that you have very little friends to talk to about music. ( Only Andrew atm =( )

Dumbledore got style...

Met up with Hani, Christie & Suan Ling for the Accounting project. Settled quite a few things, quite a good meeting. I managed to finish my book "My Legendary Girlfriend" & turned it back in to the store for 8 bucks. I bought an album by Comeback Kid, good suggestion by Sam yet again. He seems to know my taste in music better now.

We had lunch at RamenTen at Far East. After that, Hani & I went to Borders for a few minutes to kill time as I had to meet Andrew, Muthu & Rachel at 5:30 for the new Harry Potter movie.

Movie was quite alright, wasn't what I expected though. I expected something more detailed. It had to be longer too, since the book was much thicker than the previous 4. (lasted only 2 1/2 hours) I never read The Order of the Phoenix so I wouldn't know the details but Andrew said there were some missed out. I hated it when Sirius Black died, I really liked him. It was ridiculous how he died so quickly, it should have been more dramatic. lol

Friday night, time to relax...

Well I seem to be getting the most unreasonable luck with girls...everyone can look at this blog so I won't be naming them.

1) Slut
2) Too far away
3) Had a boyfriend
4) No time for a boyfriend
5) Already has a future boyfriend in mind

Yeah, you can call me a retard. My heart is kinda wierd in a way that it keeps getting me trapped in these kinds of situations I can't seem to get out of. People keep asking me to stop playing WoW & I tell them no for this reason. Its something that can get me out of thinking of these people all the time. I hated it until I started playing, I didn't really thought much about them. The bright side is I only think of 1 at a time & not all at once because it was at different stages of my life. I guess I just have to keep on coping with it.

Anyway, today was quite alright. Louis taught me how to read notes in class, which was pretty awesome. Some other things here & there too. Chit's lesson was pretty interesting, about EDI & VAN etc. Understood like 95% of it I can confidently say.
The boatride on the SP Dover was pretty awesome. I even got to steer the ship a bit. Yuen Tuck & Louis took some pictures on the boat, have to remind myself to take mine from Yuen Tuck so I can use it as a display picture for MSN. LOL. It was pretty funny, they tried to pose like the couple in Titanic until Mr Eric Chan told them to sit down. If a wave came they would have gone overboard. Louis joked that Mr Chan would have been able to save them. Then he replied he didn't want to get his clothes wet. lol. Ate quite a bit for lunch, Louis & I shared the Murtabuk & Pattaya. We also had the Niqqi's special cheese prata. (3 bucks but so worth it)

I don't know why I'm feeling so crappy all over again. It really sucks. I hope it does changes. I played Dota with Louis, Hy & Adrian just now & I'm just going to finish this blog & go to bed. Kinda expected a phone call but yeah it didn't happen so I'm just going to go to bed & get ready for the Accounting project i'm going to be discussing with Suan Ling, Christie & Hani tomorrow at the Orchard Library (Yes, Orchard does have a library at Ngee Ann City)

Have a Good Night.

Untitled

"The Unwinding Cable Car"
Emotive unstable you're like an unwinding cable car
Listening for voices, but it's the choices that make us who we are
Go your own way, even seasons have changed just burn those new leaves over
So self-absorbed you've seemed to ignore the prayers that have already come about
This is the correlation of salvation and love (Don't drop your arms)
Don't drop your arms, I'll guard your heart
With quiet words I'll lead you in
La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la
La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la
Backing away from the problem of pain you never had a home
You've been misguided, you're hiding in shadows for so very long
Don't you believe that you've been deceived that you're no better than...
The hair in your eyes, it never disguised what you're really thinking of
This is the correlation of salvation and love(Don't drop your arms)
Don't drop your arms, I'll guard your heart
With quiet words I'll lead you in
This is the correlation of salvation and love(Don't drop your arms)
Don't drop your arms, I'll guard your heart
With quiet words I'll lead you in
You're so brilliant, don't soon forget
You're so brilliant, grace marked your heart
You're so brilliant, don't soon forget
You're so brilliant, grace marked your heart
You're so brilliant (This is the correlation)
Don't soon forget (Between salvation and love, don't drop your arms)
You're so brilliant (I'll guard your heart)
Grace marked your heart (With quiet words I'll lead you in and out of the dark)
La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la (Don't drop your arms)
La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la
This is the correlation of salvation and love (La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la)
(Don't drop your arms)
Don't drop your arms, I'll guard your heart (La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la)
With quiet words I'll lead you in
This is the correlation of salvation and love (La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la)
(Don't drop your arms)
Don't drop your arms, I'll guard your heart (La lalalala, la la la, la lala, la)
With quiet words I'll lead you in

Awesome song. Slightly emo sounding but still good. If you like to laugh go to youtube.com and search for The Flight of the Conchords. They're pretty good.
Today wasn't much. Nothing much to talk about except Louis & I were hungry and we ate dinner at Foodcourt 2. Err...went home...hmmm..slacked around a bit...blogging & chatting about stupid stuff on MSN with Louis before I go to bed. Nothing much accomplished today, kinda sad. I really have to start revising for the exams which come in 2 weeks. I should stop being lazy. (Man I wish that was true) Its difficult with the known fact that I am really lazy. It seems I'd rather do nothing than something. (This bothers me) From next week onwards I have to revise a bit everyday. I finally started to take guitar seriously again. (Failed twice already, should succeed this time!) I bought a 2nd hand phaser at 70 bucks. The sound with distortion is awesome. Have to start learning Technical Difficulties now. Hahahaha. Nothing much to blog about today, kinda boring.

A Looooooooong Day

IT Class:

Tried very hard to concentrate. (I stress on the very) I hope I don't forget anything by Thursday, I really need to score well for this upcoming IT ICA in order to pass this module. I hate it so much. ><

Break:

Got introduced to this japanese show called "Liar Game". Its really nice. I watched episode 1 on campus with Hani, Sam & Louis. Took back episode 2 but it had no subtitles. I understood evreything that happened until the part where the new intructions came. Grr...

Navigational Safety Class:

We learnt Map Reading with the Chart Divider & Parallel Ruler, cool stuff. I didn't understand 1 part though, have to clarify that soon. Thondres was using the parallel ruler for like 5mins and when he nearly got the reading Louis (li qiang) pushed his hand. LOL. He started laughing and so did I. I couldn't stop until my stomach hurt.

Pain! :

The toe appointment hurt. (I stress on HURT) Apparently my nails are stubborn and won't come out so yeah enough said. I have to go see her again this week either Friday or Saturday, psh.

Home:

Nothing so far, just blogging. Might play my guitar or watch 300 again. Pretty awesome movie. They really have to show the 10,000 spartans fighting though...man!

Yes, yet another BBQ.

Yi He & Chin Hao planned everything. It was held at Chin Hao's house. A really nice condominium I gotta say. The pool was awesome. His apartment was awesome too. I played my guitar seriously today lol. For like an hour or so. I left the house at 4pm. I decided to go pick up the concert tickets first so like I wouldn't have to go get them tomorrow. Bought an album by Dream Theatre. (which I left at Chin Hao's house, he's gonna pass it to Adrian & Adrian to Muthu then to me) I'll probably get it back next week, together with the concert tickets. (=/ wanted to listen to them tonight grr...damn my forgetfulness) Louis introduced them to me, I checked up on their guitarist, John Petrucci. He's amazing. lol! (but so is Buckethead, Yngwie Malmsteem & Paul Gilbert but you know what I mean) My short term goal is to learn some classical stuff to improve my playing & to learn Technical Difficulties by Paul Gilbert. Anyway, the BBQ was awesome, fun to catch up with old friends. Took quite a lot of pictures, joked a lot, laughed quite a bit. I would say quite a successful BBQ. (good planning! hehe) Calvin, Ronson & I rushed for the last train home. We were lucky to have made it. This guy who looked like a poser (surely is one) was listening to music on his earphones. (TOO DAMN LOUD) I was having a headache. He was listening to that Umbrella song or whatever you call it. I don't like it one bit. Give me plain old rock any day of the week and I'll take it. Got back, took a shower & now I'm playing some random MSN games with Reca. (cos I have to wait for my hair to dry) Haha. That is all for today.

Just thoughts...

I've been thinking a lot lately. You know, about everything. About my life, my parents, my friends. Whatever that pops into my head. Once my toes are fine, I'm going back to rugby. It would be awkward, not being there for awhile. I don't talk to anyone anyway. It was always awkward what am I talking about. (except maybe when we were doing physical training, too tired to even think) Rugby is like the only sport I am interested in, I HAVE to keep going at it. I like the fact of taking down someone right when he gets the ball, its awesome. I've done it before so yeah I wanna do it again!! I've given more thought into my guitar too. I'm going to put more time in it rather than slacking off most of the time. (I'm serious this time!) I bought a copy of Guitar Techiques from Borders. Its an awesome megazine. Sure it costed $18.50 but for the amount of stuff they teach you in there its worth much more. I learnt a blues lick in like a day. Now I just have to play it faster. I think I'll practice that song by KISS next since its going to help me with my power chords. I have slightly stubby fingers which kinda sucks when it comes to guitar playing but I think I've found a way around that now. My dad finally got me the adaptor for my distortion pedal. Yeah so I can play all day long now and not worry that the battery would run dry because now it runs on electricity! (hope the bill doesn't go up too high o.o) I've been thinking about relationships too. Whether I should really really go for one right now or not. However, I thought about what Sara told me last time (You don't look for love, love comes looking for you) so yeah I guess I'm not in a big rush anyway. I'll just focus on my life, doing what I love. Relationships can wait, if one comes by I'll take it but until then, I'll take another serving of Rugby & Guitar playing please.

Saturday Night

Muthu came over at around 2pm. Watched Friends lol. He likes the show now. I lent him season 1 to 5 i think. Andrew came over at around 4:30pm? We left for Vivo at 5pm. Took a cab there. Met up with Songyuan, Yi He, Eugene & Guo Jing at Candy Empire. (cos its a place everyone knows) It was an awesome night. Laughed so much. We ate dinner right off the back and then walked around. I bought a black shirt from Zara. Sooooo comfortable. oh man! We ended the day by going to Ben & Jerry's. One of the most enjoyable nights of the week I gotta admit. I think I was laughing 80% of the time. Hahahahaha

Jetty Jump & other stuff

First I would like to talk about my day. It was tiring but yet really fun. We had a jetty jump today, it was pretty scary at first but in my head I was like "Screw it, just jump!" . When I landed in the water all I could taste was SALT. Too damn salty. o.o I lazed around in the water for a bit, it was so relaxing that I could sleep right there on the spot. After that we had to board a life vessel which was able to contain 20 people. We were towed 100m away and had to paddle back with the 6 paddles that were given. Next we had to capsize the life vessel and learn how to bring it back up again. Only 1 person could do it so I just volunteered to be the guy to watch out for the guy who's doing it so nothing happens by treading water in the sea near him. We all went for a shower then asked this Uncle for a ride on his lorry to the nearby prata store. That was kinda fun. Then it was time for Chit's lecture. I got a 65 on my ICA. I'm kinda disappointed, expected a 70. I'm tired, gonna go shower!

Lethargicanesserosity@!#$%#!@#

Both Monday & Tuesday, didn't feel too good. Felt lethargic & my stomach was aching. Well its still aching. Must have been something I ate. I've been watching Season 3 of The O.C. ever since. Its an awesome show. After giving it some thought of what Thondres said, I do speak like Adam Brody sometimes...not him in real life but the character he plays in the show, Seth Cohen. Its just wierd, we're somewhat alike in some ways, when it comes to girls, movies, friends, places he likes to hang out at, the stuff he does, the retarded thing he does when no one's looking..Yeah, gotta say kinda creepy that we're is so similar. Anyway, thats pretty much it. Nothing much to blog about.

Too..Much..Good...Food? oh man!

Left the house at 12pm. Met up with Lk at Maris Stella High (my secondary school) . I had to collect my 'o' levels certificate, testimonial & year book. I went to his house for like 10mins or so, so he could get changed out of his Chinese Orchestra clothing. We went to a kopitiam to eat Fish n Chips which were pretty good i gotta say. The dumplings tasted like crap though. (Ugh it was my idea too o.o doh!) Went to Andrew's house (Muthu was there too) for about 3-4 hours? I lost count. Fooled around there for a bit. (DoA 4, Halo 2, Guitar & Scrabble) Borrowed some CDs from Andrew. <3! (I'm not gay, not gay at all) Met up with Adrian & Yi He at Chomp Chomp. I ate like a bit of everything. Muthu & I had 2 portions of stingray cos the first one was really thin. He said "Bring it on!" when i asked him if he wanted to order another one from a different store. That's kinda like our thing now, always ordering stingray. I still liked Yi He's T-Shirt. (Doin' It Irish Style) After that we went to Ice3 (ice cube) for dessert. Adrian & I shared a mudpie & waffle & ice cream. I wanted to try both & so did he. (sharing ftw) We tallked about old times until about 9pm and left the cafe. I took a cab home from Serangoon. Started to talk to the cab driver because I was bored. Pretty nice guy, he also lives in Yishun apparently. Haha.

Tuesday...Tusedday...TheUsedDay

Title was totally random. I was bored. Oh well...here it goes, rambling starts...NOW!

Day started out with a full clear of Karazhan. Fun? Nope! Boring. I raided with friends I didn't like. Didn't care about too. Roman came online. Dave told me he traded his Druid in for a Mage. It was shocking but still pretty damn cool. I asked Roman to teach Dave how to PVP with a mage properly. Roman & I used to be unstoppable the week before he left. 1945 arena rating. Now that was something to be proud about. We went 11 wins 1 lose before he left. The lost was due to a bug in the game. (water elemental didn't spawn & work properly)
I called up Muthu, Lk & Yi He while on my way to the coffee shop downstairs for lunch. Muthu & Lk came over to my place at around 2-3pm. Muthu came first, then Lk. I fell asleep for like an hour or so when Muthu came over, he used the computer until Lk came. We watched Muthu totally destroy this guy in Warcraft. Its pretty awesome that his micro is still like normal. Anyway, I introduced to them this Pokemon board game i got from the US (involved a lot of dice rolling) Its not as childish as people would think. Muthu had terrible terrible luck. (LOL he made lk & I laugh a lot with his comments) After that we watched muthu thrash 1 more guy with Orc and then went to North Point for dinner.

Swensens it was! Muthu & I had the baked rice and Lk had the fish & chips. My baked rice came after Muthu & Lk finished their food Grr...manager gave me a free soup though for waiting so long. Apparently my baked rice got served to some bitch at the next table because she accused the waiter of recording her order wrongly. I think she wanted a different choice when her's came and she saw the waitrer carrying it so she went for it. Typical Singaporean with the acting nice and getting what they want because the waiter was a guy. Use your girlish charm on someone else, no one fucking cares. (except maybe the waiter who was confused) We ordered the earthquake after our meal, it was pretty alright, not big at all.

Pretty sweet day. Looking forward to Muthu & Adrian's match tonight. Haha. That is all.

Monday, June 18, 2007

I HATE Mondays? Hell yeah I do! @_@

Started out my day by arguing with someone in my guild. (lazy piece of shit) Didn't start out the day well. In the mid afternoon I watched a couple of episodes of Futurama. At around 4 I left the house for Borders to meet up with Andrew. He had this 3 for the price of 2 CDs voucher, such a good deal!

We bought:

1) Travis - The Boy With No Name
2) Cute Is What We Aim For - the same old blood rush with a new touch
3) The Academy Is... - Almost Here.

I lent Andrew 3 CDs and he lent me The Used's new album, Rise Against & Good Charlotte, not to mention the FATA CD I ordered just came in today, I have to go pick it up! Andrew brought home 2 CDs and I brought home The Academy Is, I kinda figured it was what I would play on my stereo while lazing around.
Muthu met us at Borders and we met up with Andrew's friend, Maureen after Borders for dinner at Fish & Co. Man...haven't been there in awhile, I was stuffed! The food was great. The last time Muthu & I were there was with Yi He at the Bugis Junction branch LOL man that was fun. Anyway while waiting for our food, I went " Hey you know Davy Jones has a cool accent, Do you fear death..." (Talking about the scene in the movie when Norrington was dying and Davy Jones asked him that question) Then Muthu replied "Huh? You really that I fear death ar? Its rubber lah" (inside joke) OMG I could NOT stop laughing. It was HILARIOUS!!!! Imagine if that happened in the movie, a serious mood & then Norrington (with a sword stabbed in his chest) gets all goofy and says "Rubber lah" man it'd be retarded. LOL!! I told Muthu I'm typing it out in my blog & I am! Hahahahahahahaha. We played pool at Cineleisure after that for an hour or so, pretty sucky. I couldn't concentrate because of the loud music. (Fucking chinese songs) Ugh...got home around 11pm. Called Sam to chat, went online to talk to Austin, then now to get this ass to bed. Night guys!

Sunday..

I woke up and got on vent. (short for ventrilo which is a program i use to communicate to my american friends who also play World of Warcraft) We chatted about random shit for a bit then they told me to sign up for myspace again, so I did. I played guitar for em for like an hour straight. I ran out of ideas after that >< . Sunday has been boring so far cos I've just been relaxing at home. Don't play to go out today hehe. My mom boiled some kind of herbal shit to cleanse the body. Its horrible! Its making me sick to the stomach. This is retarded. I am really hungry so I'm going to go get food. Nothing else to blog about. Haha.

Another BBQ? Errrr...Nope!

I went out with my primary school classmates today. It was kinda nice. I thought the BBQ was today because Samuel passed on a wrong message. We met up at Northpoint. Sat around aimlessly for a bit. Hy asked if anyone wanted to play pool so we went for it. Orchard Country Club has pretty good pool tables. I won like 6 out of 9 games. I had to warm up first. LOL. (i thought my skill was gone for good >< ) We took a free bus ride back to Northpoint around 6 cos Hy had to meet his friend for a movie. I ate dinner and just went home. Not THAT bad of a saturday, I still have the night to look forward to...if there IS anything.

Hm..if you talk to me on MSN, almost everyone has noticed my sudden fettish for snakes. Most people are either terrified or irritated by them but I think they look wonderful. The colour combinations, their behaviour pattern & definately how they hunt. I'm not saying I'm obsessed with it, I'm just saying its interesting. All started with this Animal Planet show called "The Jeff Corwin Experience". You can see so many different types of interesting animals in that show and mostly snakes. Its awesome. So yeah, I finally have a favourite animal. If I do ever get a pet again, I'm going to get a license to get a de-devenomed pit viper. Which would never happen in Singapore because of the government. (doubt you can even sneak in one)

The NS (National Slavery) letter came in. Telling us to enrole on the internet or we would get jailed. Wow so strict, when is Singapore NOT so fucking kiasu about enrolling in the army. After I do my time (thats right i said "do my time" its like a prison to me, fucking waste of time), I'm going to migrate to another country. Most probably Dallas TX. (try contacting me for reservice you wankers) I really do not see the point in this, if there is a bomb, Singapore is an island, it would sink. If war breaks out, Singapore would get outnumbered. If Tsunami hits Singapore, the whole island again, would sink. There is no escape. The only way is diplomacy and military deterrence. Since the government can convince the citizens to pay for a minister's spa treatment every week, I think we have a very good diplomacy system. (Andrew don't even bother asking me whats my problem with the government, I always will have a problem with them, I'm that stubborn about this subject) I'm not like any other Chinese in Singapore. First of all I hate the language. I don't even speak it & I hate it when people speak Chinese to me. (BUT omg China is going to be big next time! I don't care.) I'm in the shipping business, the official language of the ocean is English. No other. LOL.

Another BBQ?!

All my events seem to fall on one day. Its kinda retarded that it always happens to me. I went for a doctor's appointment in the morning for my toes. They're healing, needs time thats all. After that I walked around orchard for an hour before waiting for Muthu to show up. We went to City Hall MRT and met up with the rest of my ex-classmates. We had lunch at Sakae Sushi. It was the buffet. Lian Kai & I really pushed it for the first half hour and talked for like another 2 hours. Bastards didn't tell me the time. I found out it was 4:30pm and I paid and rushed to the MRT to take a train to Pasir Ris. Met up with Louis and took a bus to the park where we had the BBQ. Sam invited the both of us, it was pretty cool of her to do that. Met some new people. I ate a bit, not much I think. I forgot what I did during the BBQ because I got drunk & so did Louis. We drank Jack Daniels no.7, pretty good whiskey. I was sober at around 3am? I think. We went to the 7-Eleven to get drinks. Played Heart Attack (thanks sam for teaching me). Fun game. Haha. Louis' sister came so I got a ride home. (really nice of her =D) She told us if we wanted to get drunk we had to get drunk with some style or something. It was kinda confusing because of the fact that I was tired and couldn't concentrate well. One part I do remember though was that she talked about the conversation she had with Louis on the phone when he was drunk. "You said I need a ride home cos you drank a lot & my friend also needs a ride..Aaron cos I also think he drank a lot & we have school tomorrow" LOL!!!!!!! I couldn't stop laughing in the car. Apparently Louis hits on almost any girl when he's drunk. Sam said I was quiet when I was drunk. (gotta clarify what she meant by "quiet") It was a fun day even though I forgot half of it.

Wednesday, June 13, 2007

Wednesday, the 3rd day. Not the 2nd day, the THIRD day.

Nothing much today. Kinda bored at home. (As always) Talked to Dave & Donovan for awhile. Caught up on some stuff. Played my guitar until my distortion pedal's battery died. (I swear that pedal SUCKS batteries dry) I have to get that adapter. (Costs $84 at Swee Lee Music Centre, Fuck that) I've been trying to get it from Hong Kong because they aren't assholes who overprice everything there. It costs like $20 there. I do hope I can get it soon, I won't want to spend my allowance money on batteries. I'm better at creating new distorted riffs than clean ones apparently. Came out with a new one today. (Yay!) Its alright, isn't great. (What do you expect from a lazy guitarist eh?) When I can create awesome solos now THATS when i'll find a band (maybe next year...i dunno) I miss my friends. All of them. High school & Poly. Its miserable being an only child sometimes but there are its fringe benefits. Haha.

Monday Boredom

There are a couple of things I can do at home by myself.
No.1 - Watching TV
No.2 - Read a book
No.3 - Computer games
No.4 - Playing my guitar

I did 1 through 4 already and its only 4pm. Its boring being an only child sometimes, most of my friends have siblings. I guess this is the cost of not sharing anything. Haha. I'm watching Prison Break via Live Streaming. Its getting even more exciting. This show is awesome. Whoever has not heard of it has to try to watch it. You may like it. An interesting thing happened to me today, while I was playing my guitar at around 1pm, you know....randomly playing. Found out I can come out with pretty alright riffs if I try enough. Which I usually don't. Haha. Mostly distorted, no much good clean ones. From Autumn To Ashes gave me some nice ideas which I should probably use in the near future to improve my playing.

Jeans!!! OMG

Awesome day? Yeah kinda. The ICA was easy. I went to HMV first, with Christie, Louis, Louis, Thondres, Kian Pin, Yuen Tuck & Hani. Sam had to go out with her friend so she just accompanied us til Raffles Place MRT. Haha. We were just browsing and Louis saw a couple of Dream theatre albums so he told me to help him order one from Inokii at Far East. I'll do that tomorrow when that guy is around. We went to Ngee Ann City for lunch at Seoul Garden. It was great. Never dump a plateful of chicken on the fryer again. NEVER. LOL so much oil was splattering out. Pin, Yuen Tuck & I were going "Ow" so many times it was retarded. We went to Kinokuniya for a bit to browse & then to Topman where i bought my jeans! Omg! Awesome black faded straight cut jeans. I finally have a pair. Christie made me try on skinny cut jeans. It was wierd looking cos I had big feet. LOL. Pin bought a pair of skinny jeans, looked good on him. Oh & Yuen Tuck bought sunglasses. LOL!!! Damn big sunglasses. We went to Far East after that just to walk around. Stayed there for an amazing 4 hours or so. I got a new Atticus T-shirt & 3 CDs i ordered like a month back. Stone Sour, The Almost & From Autumn To Ashes (Well, I ordered FATA a week ago) I spend way too much, this is why I don't go out sometimes! I spent hours walking around following Christie & her sister (shopping of course) with Louis tagging along too. My feet were killing me. Literally. Toe infection for the lose. O.o It sucks, my toes hurt LOL I am going to wear my new T-shirt & jeans tomorrow & play LAN with lk, muthu, adrian & hy. I told them LAN because I can't I REALLY CAN'T walk around anymore. (stupid toes)

ICA Week

The In-Class Assessments...hmm tough? meh so far they were okay. I haven't updated my blog due to the fact that I was studying. So far I've taken Marine Engineering, IT for Shipping Business & Navigational Safety. 3 more to go! o.o Nothing much to say on ICA Week. Well...my toes got infected. Haha. I got mud on my toes when I was recovering from in-grown toenails so yeah mud went in you get the picture. My toes looked like they were rotting. Literally rotting. I took an injection yesterday. (No it did not hurt) Doctor says I have a high pain supression, I guess that's pretty nifty. I found a new method of studying. Seems to help, so I guess its pretty okay. Why do I always seem to meet smelly retards who don't bathe. Every single time in the MRT I'll bound to meet a fat guy who smells...BAD. Its so annoying. Next week is the holidays! I'll have more to do & more to blog about.

29th May 2007, Home ---> SP ---> Home

Today we had...hmm IT for Shipping Business & Navigational Safety? IT lesson wasn't THAT boring. Pretty alright actually, compared to the rest. I got 65% for my EXCEL test. I was happy. Everyone else got like 70+, 80+. Do I care? Nope! Hahahaha. Haider Ali was boring as usual but I had to pay attention. I know if I didn't I would fail. Today was about ship lights. He spent about half an hour on it. I read the notes and understood it in 5mins. I don't understand why people need such a long explanation from him. At the end he said "Anyone have any questions (Pronounced as cushion instead of question) " LOL!!!!!!!!!!! His accent is funny. I think it was Louis who looked to me and said " I think only girls have cushions." lol!!! Overall a normal okay day. I ate dinner in school and went back home, played WoW for like 2 hours before studying. My arena team did pretty well this week. I am now in 4/5 Gladiator gear. 15 intercept cooldown. Amazingly overpowered. No rugby apparently, the field is like going through maintanence. When rugby starts the field would return to its original crappy state anyway, I don't see why they bother.

Pirates of the Carribean

It was 11:30am and I was waiting for Hao Yuan at Yishun MRT, we took a train ride to Orchard MRT and met up with Muthu & Andrew at Far East Plaza. Andrew was buying new shoes. (FINALLY) Haha. We ate subway, bought 12 cookies for 10 bucks, met nicholas in front of Shaw Centre and went to Borders. We looked around for a bit. Hy, Muthu and Nick went ahead and booked a table for pool at KPool (Waste of fucking money) at Cineleisure. Andrew & I went to HMV for a few mins and then to Fossil to take a look at a watch for him. Muthu bought like water and the lady came over and told him he wasn't allowed to bring water into the pool area. (When the fuck was water not allowed, what a bitch) It was very unreasonable. He was thirsty too. They aren't gonna make us buy their expensive canned drinks, stupid people. I wasn't playing my usual game that day. It was horrible, I haven't been playing for awhile that I lost my skill. I gotta practice more often ><. Stupid SP pool tables are all 6 ft. (Crappy too, the cues also suck) The movie was awesome, Enough said. Went to the arcade with Hy for a bit. He taught me how to do a drift turn in Daytona. lol. I went home and did my Fireworks assignment, it looks so ugly omg. I played Gunbound with Lk, Muthu, Hy and Adrian. Its a childish game but I don't care, I haven't played with any of my friends in so long that any game would be enjoyable.

BBQ?!?!

I lazed around at home until around 4, then i made my way to the BBQ pit at East Coast Park. Bought charcoal...because my classmates didn't get any. LOL. When I got there we started the fire. I was listening to From Autumn To Ashes the entire time so I didn't really notice what people said. I just threw charcoal in. The fire was way too big at the start but after 15mins or so, it was great. Thanks to Kian Pin, Yuen Tuck and I we managed to start cooking the food. All the girls went to ride bicycles so we decided to cook and eat the food first. I couldn't really care in my opinion, I ate like...half cooked cuttlefish. I didn't really wash my hands after touching the charcoal but I still used my hands for everything I ate. No stomachache too! Haha. Later on that night, Chit came and he brought his family with him together with 2 bags of charcoal (we didn't use this) & 2 bags of lychee.(I think it was Christie) who started the game where if you lost 3 rounds of Rock, Paper, Scissors, you had to have a lime squeezed into your mouth. It was so boring that we had to play that. LOL There was another game I didn't take part in where you had to run to the 5th lamp post and the loser...well apparently Christie lost and she got thrown into the ocean. Shortly after that Cheng Xiao and Louis threw Thondres even deeper into the sea. I'm sad I wasn't there to see it =( but still, funny stuff. We went to Bedok and then took a MRT back. It was 20 stops for me to yishun. Ugh...

Blades of Glory

Hmm...Sam bugged me to update again. *Sighs* LOL kidding. Erm yeah. Great day. I went out with Sam for lunch and a movie. Oh and I went to buy my new bagpack too! The lunch was pretty alright, I ate Yakitori and rice. We went to the arcade before the movie. Gosh that was horrible. In daytona she beat me in the last 5 seconds. Omfg I had like 8 cars crash into me in the last few seconds I couldn't do crap! Wtf. We went over to the air hockey table. Yeah only 4 pucks came out during Triple Play mode and that was it. What a waste of money. The movie we watched is what I stated above. Its one of the best comedy movies I have ever seen. It starred John Heder from School of Scoundrels and Will Ferrell...well from quite a few movies lol. It was HILARIOUS. I could NOT stop laughing. I was laughing after the movie ended on the street too. Hahahaha. I bought a Funeral for a Friend CD (Hours). It was on sale for 18.75. I always wanted it so i decided to just pick it up. Soo..when i get back I found out the book I needed to do my assignments CANNOT be borrowed. I'm so screwed. Tomorrow's the class BBQ. I don't really get along that well with the entire class I guess. I don't talk to much of em. They don't talk to me so frankly I can't be bothered. I hope tomorrow would be fun..somehow...looking forward to supper with Sam & Louis.

Monday!!!

It started off with me waking up at 5:45am. Yup, 5:45...I couldn't sleep. I got up and turned on the computer to go chat with some friends of mine. Nothing else to do at 5:45 in the damn morning. It was a pretty boring day. I didn't get any work done today. I fooled around at home til about 5pm. My Dad kinda forced me to go out with him and my mom. We went to Queensway Shopping Centre to find me a new bag. That didn't go too well. It was off to People's Park next for dinner. I HATE that place. I stress on the word "Hate". It is full of typical Chinese people speaking Mandarin and Hokkien. There was this fat guy who sat at our table for no apparent reason. It was wierd. The food came an hour later and it was horrible. I was so hungry I only ate the rice. Horrible food, horrible surroundings, horrible people. Whenever I get the chance to leave this country I will, oh trust me, I will. If everyone had my attitude towards the Singaporean government, you'd see the flag in flames right now.

New Blog

I decided to blog. I had some free time and nothing else to do so yeah I'll just talk about random stuff going on in my life. I went to see Phantom of the Opera with Andrew and his friends. It was really great. Next week is E-Learning Week, that means I don't have to go to school. However, the damn assignments my lecturers are giving me are really really difficult. Ugh...at least I still have some stuff next week to look forward to!
